When you register, book or use the Platform, we may collect the following:

• Identity & contact data: name, email address, contact phone number. • Booking data: guest name, check-in and check-out dates, chosen home and payment records. • Payment-related data: the FPS number used for deposit refunds, and bank transfer payment screenshots. (Credit card details are handled directly by Stripe; we do not store your credit card number.) • Account data: if you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google account information (name and email). • Technical data: basic usage records and cookies when you browse the Platform.

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

• To process and manage your bookings, payments and deposit refunds; • To send you booking confirmations, approval notices, booking modifications and other service-related emails; • To provide check-in details (such as address and access method) for confirmed bookings; • To verify identity, prevent fraud and keep the Platform secure; • To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support; • To comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

To provide our services, we use the following trusted third-party providers, and some of your data may be passed to them for processing:

• Google Firebase (Google LLC): member login, database and file storage. • Stripe: credit card payment processing. • Resend: sending transactional email notifications. • Google Calendar: syncing home availability (where the relevant home uses it). • Airbnb (where a home is connected): coordinating availability via calendar sync.

These providers may process your data only to the extent necessary to provide services to us, and are subject to their respective privacy policies.

The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your language preference and improve your experience. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, but some features (such as staying logged in) may not work properly as a result.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, use or disclosure. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled systems. However, internet transmission is not absolutely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data during transmission.

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law (for example, financial and transaction records). When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to access and request correction of the personal data we hold about you. You may also request that we delete your account and related data (though we may need to retain certain records for legal or financial purposes).

The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we may have collected a child’s data, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any update takes effect once published on the Platform. We recommend that you review this Policy periodically for the latest practices.
